ASTAF 2026 wants its information, conversations and festival programme to be open to as many people as possible. This page describes the steps we are taking and how to tell us when something is getting in the way.
Our commitment
We are working to make the ASTAF website easier to navigate with a keyboard, screen reader or other assistive technology. We use semantic headings, meaningful link text, alternative text for important images, visible focus states and responsive layouts as part of that work.
Accessibility is an ongoing process. Some older or third-party content may not yet meet every need, and programme arrangements remain subject to venue and supplier confirmation.
Website access
You can resize text with your browser, zoom the page, use keyboard navigation and adjust contrast or motion preferences through your device settings. The site is designed to work across current desktop and mobile browsers, although external media may have different accessibility features.
Festival access
We are considering access needs in venue planning, visitor information, programme design and communication with participants. Details such as step-free routes, seating, interpretation, captioning, quiet areas and assistance will be shared when the 2026 arrangements are confirmed.
Access requirements can vary. Sharing what you need early helps the team plan a useful response without asking you to justify your request.
